Dr. Kirstin Ramsay
Dentist & Practice Owner
Dr. Kirstin Ramsay is the owner and dentist at Preston Ridge Dental, where she combines her passion for beautiful smiles with a whole-body approach to health. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry and completed a two-year General Practice Residency at Louisiana State University. With more than two decades of dental experience, Dr. Ramsay purchased Preston Ridge Dental in 2013 and has built a practice rooted in clinical excellence and patient wellness ever since.
What sets Dr. Ramsay apart is her commitment to functional dentistry, which is an approach that recognizes oral health as an essential part of overall wellness. She loves getting to know her patients, learning about their wellness goals, and working alongside them to optimize their health from the inside out. That same energy has taken root within her team, too. As the practice has embraced functional dentistry, Dr. Ramsay has been inspired to see her staff experience meaningful improvements in their own health and their families' health.
Dr. Ramsay's path to dentistry began close to home. Growing up in a family connected to the medical field, she was always drawn to healthcare. An early childhood injury that broke her front tooth showed her just how powerful dentistry could be. Seeing firsthand how restoring a smile could restore someone's confidence set her on this path, and she has never looked back.
Outside the office, Dr. Ramsay keeps life full and active. She is an enthusiastic Peloton rider, an avid reader, and a devoted live music fan. She and her husband love combining travel with discovering great music at unique venues in fascinating cities. Born in London, England, Dr. Ramsay grew up competing in equestrian show jumping, traveling across the country to compete. She may have lost the British accent along the way, but the adventurous spirit has stayed with her.
Rhonda
Front Office Coordinator
Rhonda is the warm and welcoming face and voice of Preston Ridge Dental. As a member of the administrative team, she is often the first person you'll connect with, whether you're calling to schedule an appointment or walking through the door. Rhonda is passionate about making every patient feel genuinely cared for, and she takes pride in guiding you through your entire experience from start to finish.
Rhonda takes a hands-on approach to patient care that goes well beyond scheduling. She manages patient treatment plans, ensures you're working with a familiar face at each visit, and for new patients, she joins Dr. Ramsay chairside to learn about your dental history, your goals, and what matters most to you. If any part of your treatment plan needs clarification, Rhonda is there to walk you through it, using the same language Dr. Ramsay uses, so nothing gets lost in translation.
With more than 25 years in dentistry, including over a decade alongside Dr. Ramsay, Rhonda brings a wealth of experience and genuine warmth to her role. Her love for this field began with childhood dental visits, when a caring dentist put her at ease. That early experience inspired her to help create that same sense of comfort for others. She describes her team at Preston Ridge Dental as family, and that closeness shows in the care they provide every day.
Outside the office, Rhonda loves to read and spends her free time with friends and family. She has a special heart for her nieces and nephews and makes a point of taking them out to do kind things for others, because she believes the next generation should learn early that small acts of kindness go a long way.
Jerick
Virtual Front Desk Representative
Jerick keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes by answering calls, helping with appointments and confirmations, verifying insurance benefits, updating patient records, and ensuring every interaction feels welcoming and stress-free. His goal is simple: to make your experience as easy and positive as possible from the very first hello.
Jerick was educated in the Philippines and has built hands-on expertise in dental front desk operations, patient communication, scheduling, and insurance verification. He joined the Preston Ridge Dental team in February 2025. He was drawn to the dental field for its unique combination of patient care, communication, and teamwork, which are all things he genuinely enjoys. One of his favorite parts of the role is knowing he helped make someone's day a little easier, whether that means finding the perfect appointment time or simply making a patient feel heard and welcome.
Here's something you might not expect: Jerick works remotely from the Philippines, supporting the Preston Ridge Dental team and its patients in Texas. He finds the role incredibly rewarding, and it's a testament to the power of great communication across any distance. Outside of work, he loves exploring new places, watching movies and shows, listening to music, playing games, and finding creative ways to use technology to simplify everyday tasks.
